October 2007 Vacation - Luxembourg : The second leg of our trip was to Luxembourg. We stayed at the Le Royal in Luxembourg City. Spent an evening of dinner in Remich, which is in the wine country on the Moselle River. This section of the river borders Germany. On the way back we took a not so enjoyable side trip into Germany. This side trip took only 15 minutes!

Hurricane Sandy : Photos of the damage the property took from Sandy, the October 2012 storm. Eleven trees and one utility pole had come down from the garage to the end of the driveway.Once all was cleared the property never looked the same. My power was out for 4 weeks. The cable came back on Thanksgiving and the phone December 18th.

Grand Teton & Yellowstone Nat'l Parks : 6/24/11 - 6/29/11. Traveled to Grand Teton National Park to spread Fred's spirit on the shore of Jenny Lake. This had been his wishes for over 20 years. We took a photo on a rock during our first visit there together. He decided that this would be the perfect location to live out eternity. Laura, Margaret and my friend Guy flew out and spent a few days. We stayed at Jenny Lk Lodge and Jackson Lk Lodge in the park. The second half of the trip was touring through Yellowstone Nat'l Pk. Photos taken by Guy are indicated as such. Use the Slideshow for best viewing. The speed can be adjusted.

However, I was able to take at least one of him during most of our vacations. You'll notice that the early vacations he was happy to pose for me. He was still in courting mode!! Most of the following are photos I had been sworn to leave out of publication when showing the vacation photos! A few doggie photos are thrown in. Some of the vacation locations not listed are: St Petersburg, Russia, Belguim, Luxembourg, Venice, Lake Como, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Austraila, most of the US and Canada.

Jets vs Ravens : First Jets home game in the new Meadowlands Stadium and my new seats. My zoom had to work overtime from this height! The Monday night game was delayed due to lightening and bad weather in the area. This gave me the opportunity of taking some unique shots of an empty stadium and a pretty decent sunset.

Grounds For Sculpture : On 9/23/10 Joy and Angela invited a few friends to dinner at Rat's Resturaunt located on the Grounds For Sculpture in honor of Fred. The dinner will be unforgettable and the sculptures were lovely and strange and everything in between. We didn't have time to go into any of the in-door exhibits. Located in Hamilton, NJ.

Martha's Vineyard : Fred didn't realize the drive up to Martha's Vineyard (9/17/10-9/20/10) was going to be the last vacation he planned for us. He never got the chance to go! I kept the reservation he made for the ferry ride from Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven and the hotel reservation at the Mansion House. It was time well spent reflecting on the best times of my life with the love of my life. I also took the opportunity to visit with my aunt, LuElla Peniston. It was fitting because outside of my immediate family, she and her family was the first on my side to accdept us into their home as a couple! LuElla took me around the island, made reservations for us at two wonderful resturants and provided much needed conversation.

Eukanuba 2008 : Eukanuba Championships Dec. 13th & 14th, 2008 in Long Beach, Ca. The host hotel was the Hyatt and our room view was the harbor side facing the Queen Mary berthed on the Pacific. Includes a side trip to the Aquarium with Laurie Kasowski. NOTE: majority of the dog show photos were too fussy to post.

Sausalito, Napa Valley & BCNC Dog Show : Ron was asked to judge Sweepstakes at the Borzoi Club of Northern California Specialty on 10/21. We took an extra two days before and after the show. We spent the first two days at the Inn Above Tide in Sausalito. The final two days were spent at the Villagio in Yountville, Napa Valley.
